Weight loss, pregnancy, and genetics are all factors that can cause the tummy to develop loose, sagging skin and a bulging appearance. What is BBL Hero?
The Sciton® BBL Hero™ laser delivers skin that is healthier, smoother, more toned, and younger-looking. Using Broadband Light™, BBL Hero works on the superficial top layer of skin as well as the lower layers to rejuvenate damaged skin cells.

How BBL Hero achieves younger skin
True to its name, BBL Hero has been proven to cause skin cells to act “younger”, which results in the production of more collagen and elastin. The collagen and elastin are what gives our skin its taut youthfulness. This is a direct result of utilizing highly effective Broadband Light.
Treatment details
A topical numbing agent will be applied, and you will be given protective goggles to wear. The BBL Hero laser will emit quick bursts of Broadband Light energy directly into your skin where improvement is needed. Patients report this sensation as only feeling “warm”, and not uncomfortable or painful at all. Treatment time will vary from patient to patient, but typically lasts about 20 minutes. We recommend a series of 3 to 5 treatments done at least twice each year as part of a long-term skincare plan.
Recovery and results
BBL Hero requires no downtime, and you should be able to return to your regular day immediately following treatment. The most common side effect is flushed skin, but this will typically fade in a few hours. Some patients also experience minimal swelling for a day or two. Be sure to avoid prolonged sun exposure for two weeks after treatment, and wear a strong sunscreen. Results are visible in about one week, and will progress over the following months.
