BodyTite/Morpheus

Weight loss, pregnancy, and genetics are all factors that can cause the tummy to develop loose, sagging skin and a bulging appearance. Though exercise can provide limited toning benefits, no amount of exercise or dieting can restore firmness to loose skin or repair muscles that have been stretched and separated as a result of pregnancy.

About BodyTite and Morpheus8

Both BodyTite and Morpheus8 tighten the skin by utilizing bipolar radiofrequency energy. They are both minimally invasive procedures that deliver excellent results.
Morpheus8 uses microneedling teamed with radiofrequency to remodel the tissue underneath the skin and trigger brand-new collagen production.
BodyTite successfully tightens loose skin and removes stubborn pockets of fat at the same time.

Why BodyTite and Morpheus8 work well together

These two treatments work beautifully in conjunction with one another because Morpheus8 targets the external skin while BodyTite focuses energy beneath the skin. By using these procedures together, loose skin is addressed on “both sides”, which results in remarkable skin tightening. In short, combining BodyTite and Morpheus8 enhances what both procedures can do, and elevates results to the next level.

Plan Your Procedure

When you undergo BodyTite with Morpheus8, your procedure will be done under local anesthesia, sometimes with mild sedation if needed. The treatment area will be marked to help guide your specialist, and then the treatment will begin. We start with BodyTite, wherein tiny incisions are made for the handheld probe to enter. Once inside the skin, this probe emits radiofrequency heat to liquify and remove fat, coagulate blood vessels, and tighten the skin. During this time, the BodyTite computer carefully monitors the heat levels to ensure patient safety and the proper levels of treatment.
While the internal probe is working, an electrode on the outside of the probe passes over the skin externally, at the same time, to kickstart collagen production.
Once the BodyTite portion of the procedure is complete, the Morpheus8 treatment will begin. The Morpehus8 handheld device contains micro-pins that work at different energies, “stamping” the treatment area to revitalize and remodel both external skin and deep tissues.

Recovery and results

Side effects from the Morpheus8 may include pinpoint bleeding and/or a sunburn-like sensation. These are both normal and temporary. Downtime during your recovery period will mostly come from the BodyTite procedure, which typically requires about three days. Bruising and swelling may last for up to two weeks. You may also need to wear a compression garment during recovery.
Once the bruising and swelling have subsided, early results will be visible. Final results become apparent in 3 to 6 months, and your body will continue to form new collagen for about one year, resulting in skin that is tighter, firmer, and more youthful.
