Lip Augmentation
Weight loss, pregnancy, and genetics are all factors that can cause the tummy to develop loose, sagging skin and a bulging appearance. Though exercise can provide limited toning benefits, no amount of exercise or dieting can restore firmness to loose skin or repair muscles that have been stretched and separated as a result of pregnancy.

Cosmetic fillers, like Juvéderm or Restylane, provide temporary volume to the lips that last 5 – 6 months. A fat transfer offers a longer-lasting enhancement by removing fat from another area of the body and grafting the purified fat into the lips. After lip augmentation, many patients look younger and more attractive with fuller lips that balance out the face.
Lip Augmentation FAQ
Fillers or Fat Graft?
Lip injections with cosmetic fillers like Juvéderm or Restylane are a great option for first-time patients. For patients that have been consistently happy with their lip injection results from cosmetic fillers, fat grafting is a persistent treatment option.
What is a facial fat transfer?
Once injected into the lips, 30% of the fat cells survive the transfer and will remain in the lips. For this reason, many patients receive multiple lip injection treatments until they achieve the desired result.
Can I fill other areas, too?
In addition to enhancing the appearance of the lips, cosmetic fillers can also be injected into the cheeks and hands for a younger, softer appearance. Both the cheeks and the hands are common areas for age-related volume loss and restoring the volume in these areas can make you look and feel younger.
